By reaching the end of 28th week of pregnancy you have reached the third trimester of pregnancy. You can feel frequent movements of your baby that is continuously engaged in some activity inside your womb. Your doctor will show you the charts of the fetal movements which will be more exciting for new parents. Do not worry if the baby is still in the breech position since it will turn around as the due date approaches. Ensure that you are doing regular exercises as advised by your doctor which would help you during delivery session. Prepare your mind for normal delivery which is much easier than the C-section method.

For those with Rh antibodies in their blood report, the doctor will give a shot of anti-D dose during this week and further during the 36th week.

Pregnancy Symptoms Week 28

Eat nutritious food many times a day instead of having big meal. It would definitely help you in getting relief from symptoms like acidity and heartburn. Some women may feel extremely tired most of the day due to increased pressure from the uterus side on the upper chest. It can cause signs of abdominal cramps as well as pregnancy pain.

You will be using restroom more frequently than before. Remember to stay hydrated by drinking plenty of fluids. Avoid having coffee and other soft beverages. During this period, some of you may get Braxton Hicks contractions but there is no need to worry. It can be only a false sign of labor pain. You can get used to that sort of pain from now on and the climax is fast approaching.

Constipation can become a routine problem for many women at this stage of pregnancy. You can manage it by eating plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables. If you are bothered very much you can take fiber powder after consulting your doctor.

Now the baby weighs more than 3 pounds and is growing in fast pace. From this week on you can expect rigorous growth of the baby. Fatty deposits will begin to accumulate on his body making him look plump. Now the eyes are wide open with fully grown eyelids and eyebrows. Even the eyelashes can be seen at this stage through ultrasound scan.

His brain continues to develop and is getting ready to mature. Lungs are in almost full grown stage at the end of second trimester. Your baby will enjoy making movements in his small chamber making kicks and punches now and then. Due to fat deposits his weight will continue to increase in the next two months.
